An air of shock and fear has gripped Jhodaat Sardar Pada in Andul after the death of a 24-year-old engineering student under mysterious circumstances. The incident took place around midnight on Wednesday in the Sankrail police station area.
The victim, identified as Rahul Sardar, was found lying on the roof of his house in a pool of blood, with deep injuries to his neck and wrists, reportedly caused by a sharp weapon. Around 1 am, his family members discovered him in the critical state and rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Following the report, police from Sankrail station reached the scene, collected evidence and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The circumstances surrounding Rahul’s death remain unclear, and authorities are probing all possible angles, including foul play.
The sudden and violent nature of the incident has left neighbours and acquaintances deeply unsettled, as investigators work to determine whether it was a case of suicide, homicide, or something more complex.
